Leisure Time Activities
This is part of a video challenge I recently participated in. (Yes another one.) I’m a work in progress. Just like you. 😊
These challenge videos were shared privately so we would feel comfortable while learning. I recently decided to share some of them publicly to give you a peek into my world.
I’ve always been a very private person so this is way out of my comfort zone, but that’s what this year is about for me. Stepping out and sharing more of myself so that I can be of greater service to you.
The assignment on this day was to share what we do in our leisure time. As you might guess from the picture above, horses play a major role in my leisure time. They are a source of joy, peace and utter delight. (Check out some of my other videos to see Magical Merlyn, the big Thoroughbred.)
How about you? What brings you joy? What do you choose to do in your leisure time? I’d love to hear about it. Please share in the comments below.
Thanks for watching!
Blessings,
Debbra
P.S. That’s Riley video bombing(?) behind me.
P.P.S. I’d love it if you subscribed to my YouTube Channel. It would really help me out as I need to boost my numbers to have access to a better URL. Much appreciated! 💜
Hello Debbra,
I just happened to stumble upon you by listening to a podcast you made with Katherine and Andrea, Reiki Masters from the podcast “Beyond The Reiki Gateway” (I love these two ladies!).
Just read this post and I have to say, I enjoy my leisure time by being at home alone, listening to podcasts, studying and reading more about crystal healing, going on bike rides throughout the neighborhood, or chatting with my mom who lives in the east coast (I live in WA State).
I honestly have to say, I don’t like being out in public as muhc anymore. Sure I have a job that is part time and I enjoy it there, but the older I get (turned 55 on March 17!), I just want to be at home, or a as we call a homebody. Even though we went through a pandemic that kept us inside for that length of time we weren’t allowed to even be out, I actually enjoyed being indoors, with the ocassional venturing out either for a run or bike ride.
I just finished a course in Meditation that I could teach or offer as a service, so maybe I am leaning towards a different path that I can be happy doing my own thing, no hassles of going into an office, or wasting gas with the looming prices we’re experiencing! But, bills won’t pay themselves so I guess I will continue doing what I do and enjoy as much as I can those leisure times I can get on my own, doing what I love and feel less stress about!
Thank you for your insights and I look forward to listening you on YouTube! 😉
Sincerely,
SB
